Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

5 Feb

Harriet Vanger, a scion of one of Sweden’s wealthiest families, disappeared over forty years ago. All these years later, her aged uncle continues to seek the truth. He hires Mikael Blomkvist, a crusading journalist recently trapped by a libel conviction, to investigate. He is aided by the pierced and tattooed punk prodigy Lisbeth Salander. Together they tap into a vein of unfathomable iniquity and astonishing corruption.

I just finished reading this book a few days ago and it was so so so good. I think it takes a little while to really get into the story. I think it was somewhere between page 200 and 300 before it really starts to pick up. Once it does though, you will not want to put it down. Definitely a suspense filled book. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

I just started the 2nd one last night and I can’t wait to get really into it!
