5k {six weeks to go}

6 Aug

The 5k is 6 weeks from this past Saturday. I haven’t run very much in the past week. I ran last Thursday in the morning with Dan. I ran about 2 miles. My leg was really hurting so I decided to take a week off from running to see if my leg will feel better. We have a stationary bike at the apartment so I have been doing that to keep exercising while I’m not running.
I will try and run again on Thursday or Friday so we will see how that goes.
I haven’t been eating really great this past week so I haven’t really lost any more weight but I have stayed about the same. This week I’m going to attempt to eat better and we will see what happens.
Anyone else having any weight loss/exercise/training progress?

    Sorry your leg is playing up! Running can be very taxing on the body sometimes hey…
    I’ve been trying a new program at the gym that one of the instructors set up for me. Using more free weights. It’s great when someone shows you what to do. I’m starting to get a lot stronger than I’ve ever been! Not much weight loss though. More like gaining atm!

      I know running can be taxing. Hopefully taking this time off will help it feel better. I have been doing a little more strength training because I know it is better for you and will help me tone up a little more. You might not be losing weight but I’m sure you are toning up and perhaps losing some inches. 🙂

thanks for stopping by to leave me some love. <3
