couch to 5k {one week down, eight to go}

I mentioned the couch to 5k program that I was starting in a recent post. I started it last Wednesday and finished the first week on Sunday. The program is 3 non consecutive days each week for 9 weeks.
The first week was a brisk five minute warmup walk, alternating 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for 20 minutes, then a 5 minute cool down. Jogging for 60 seconds was pretty easy but I know the program will continue to get harder, which I know is the point. Hopefully this program will help me build up my stamina for a 5k in September.
I will start the second week tomorrow and hopefully it will keep feeling pretty easy.
